A radio show is a very fun and fulfilling use of time

In the early months of 2022, there was an incident that I like to refer to as "The Flash Drive Scandal of 2022"

Many recordings of the Show were stored on this flash drive. The flash drive was accidentally left in the studio one day after recording a brilliant show

The next week when we came into the studio the flash drive was gone and nowhere to be found within the studio

An email to the other DJ's about this incident sparked enough interest to establish a "Lost and Found" box in the studio

This box is now in the studio and I personally wrote "Lost and Found" on 3 of the four sides of this box (not including the side of the box that rests on the table and there is no top on the box) with a sharpie that was in the studio

There was another incident in early 2023 with storing the recording files. I couldn't figure out exactly what happened but it resulted in more recordings getting lost. It is possible that the recordings each week were overwriting each other as I saved them every week. It is either that or somewhere on my computer there is a folder with these lost recordings in them

Yes indeed you do hear a lot of Talking Heads music and music from David Byrne's solo career on the show

Generally we try not to play an overwhelming amount of this music on the show but it is prevalent

This happened because of the way that we were recording the shows at the time

We had to leave the studio and stop the recording at the same time as the show was finishing up

The later recordings of Afternoon Bite are recorded in such a way that we can record the show in its entirety
